Teach Yourself Visually Books Review

           Teach Yourself Visually Books Review

Hello again to you. I am glad you have stopped by to read my review of the book series called Teach Yourself Visually. I remember when I wanted to learn how to crochet but didn't have the foggiest idea how to go about it. I went online and looked up how to crochet but none of the many sites that popped up had any clear instructions to follow or pictures that would have helped the process. Sure they drawings or sketches of how they thought the stitches needed to look like. I give them props for trying to get their points across to me a newbie at the time.
It wasn't till I went to a local book store where I came across some books in the needle arts section called Teach Yourself Visually Crochet. It definitely stood out among the others as there were very clear concise step by step photos on the inside and the cover was very eye catching with it's brightly colored pictures and graphics. It didn't take me long to realize that I had found a beacon to guide me in my pursuit of learning the art of crochet.
I purchased the book right then and there and took it home and read through it and discovered full color photos that offered step by step picture by picture instructions that even the simplest mind could figure out for sure. I took out my crochet hook and medium worsted yarn and followed their simple instructions and checked my work against the many pictures in the book and felt completely vindicated with my efforts. That very night I had learned all of the simple crochet stitches and actually started working on my first project, a scarf. Sure you think a scarf, how boring right? But for a newbie it was a weight lifted off of me and I was free to make anything I wanted finally. I wanted to share my story with you out there, the one's struggling to learn whatever subject they are in search of.

I have included for your convenience a link to some of their vast collection of subjects books so that you can solve your learning dilemma today.           Sure we have all heard the line "Do as you are told". Okay that is outdated in the sense that some people don't learn that way. I know I don't, I found that I am a visual learner so you can tell me till your blue in the face what to do but I won't get it till I see it with my own eyes.
